Cheryl Landwehr has rejoined IADD as the Director of Corporate Development after a several-year hiatus. With more than 20 years of oil and gas experience, she was on the original IADD staff. She began her O&G career at Brown & Root, which was purchased by Halliburton, and worked in several positions, including sales, marketing, administrative specialties, and accounting. Prior to this, Cheryl handled the management and remediation of hazardous substances, such as radioactive materials, for American Ecology, Inc. During that time, she worked on Super Fund sites in Texas and Oklahoma. She also started two companies that helped treat and dispose of hazardous materials that required pre-treatment or special handling. Cheryl holds a degree in Communications from Texas Christian University.
Wendy Gray handles marketing, branding and event coordination for the IADD on a consulting basis. She started Gray Matter Marketing Communications, a full-service strategic marketing communications, branding and event agency, in 2014 and has proudly worked with the International Association of Directional Drilling since 2015. She is a seasoned marketer with more than 20 years of consumer and business-to-business experience with companies, such as Coca-Cola, AMC Theatres, Wings Over Houston Airshow, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Halliburton, BJ Services, Baker Hughes, Forum Drilling, and Clariant OMS. Wendy received a BA in Marketing from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
